Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in the early hours after reports of heavy smoke and flames engulfing part of the building. Residents were evacuated as crews worked urgently to contain the blaze and rescue those trapped inside.

Emergency services carried out intensive resuscitation efforts at the scene, but all three men were pronounced dead shortly after being brought out of the building.

Several others were treated for smoke inhalation, though no additional life-threatening injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed, with investigators from the London Fire Brigade working alongside police to determine how the incident started.

The tragedy has left the local community in shock, with residents describing scenes of chaos and confusion as the fire spread rapidly through the structure. Authorities are expected to carry out a full safety inspection of the building in the coming days.
