The former England and Great Britain star revealed how difficult it was to adjust after years of having her life defined by competition and elite performance.
Since leaving hockey behind, Quek has built a new career in broadcasting and media while embracing family life. However, she admitted that finding a new sense of purpose has been a journey, especially after spending so many years focused on achieving success on the pitch.
