PUTIN offers condolences to Venezuela after deadly earthquakes

Thursday, June 25, 2026-Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his condolences to the people and government of Venezuela following a series of deadly earthquakes that caused significant loss of life and widespread destruction.

The disaster has damaged homes, infrastructure, and public services, leaving emergency teams working around the clock to rescue survivors and provide assistance to affected communities. Authorities continue to assess the full scale of the damage as rescue operations remain underway.

Putin's message of sympathy highlights the international response that is emerging as countries offer support to Venezuela during the crisis. Humanitarian organizations and government agencies are mobilizing resources to assist with emergency relief efforts, including medical aid, temporary shelter, and essential supplies.

The focus remains on saving lives, restoring critical services, and helping communities recover from the devastating impact of the earthquakes.

The disaster also underscores the importance of disaster preparedness, resilient infrastructure, and rapid emergency response systems.

As recovery efforts continue, both local authorities and international partners are expected to play a crucial role in rebuilding affected areas and supporting long-term economic recovery. The coming weeks will be critical as Venezuela works to stabilize conditions and address the immediate needs of thousands of displaced residents.
