Nazi arsenal seized from Argentine vendor's home

Thursday, June 11, 2026- Argentine authorities have uncovered a significant cache of Nazi-era weapons and memorabilia during a raid on the home of a private vendor, prompting an investigation into possible illicit trafficking and historical artifact smuggling.

The discovery included firearms, military paraphernalia, and items bearing Nazi insignia, raising immediate concerns about the origin, legality, and intended use of the collection.

Officials say the seizure followed a targeted investigation into illegal trade networks dealing in historical weapons and extremist collectibles.

The vendor, whose identity has not been publicly disclosed, is being questioned as authorities work to determine whether the items were part of a broader trafficking operation or an unauthorized private collection.

Experts have been brought in to assess the authenticity and historical value of the recovered materials.

The case has sparked renewed debate in Argentina over the regulation of extremist symbols and the illegal trade of wartime artifacts.

Authorities are emphasizing stricter enforcement as they attempt to prevent the circulation of items linked to Nazi Germany, while investigators continue to trace the origins of the seized arsenal and identify any international connections.
